Unprompted, they said to me "Did you know that 90% of guns used in crime are handguns smuggled from the US?"

When I say "don't you think that all of these resources should be focused on the boarder an not hunters?" they all nod their heads and agree

Introduce people to the cost-benefit analysis.
Buying back firearms will cost Billions and do nothing.
Spend that money at the border, on youth programs, and other grass root social issues and see where that gets you.

Lots of non-drunk people vote PPC, I can't for the life of me figure out why.

Some rising leadership races in the west could definitely choose better representatives that aren't outright bigots. Nationally, we can't elect social conservatism. FACT. But we can elect fiscal conservatism that advocates for individual freedoms and acountability.

Fact is the urban Laurentians could care less about violence - especially violence involving poor people in the inner cities and on reserves.

They simply hate western, rural and working-class people.

What they are really about is imposing their world view on others.

In their minds, you deserve to be the target of demagoguery, scapegoating and hate.

What are people upset about? That they can't take their registered, neutered AR15 to an approved range with an Authorization To Transport.

A spring election will only happen if JT can secure the backdoor deal with his lapdog Singh. And I suspect Singh will fall in line because the way things are going, Singh gets tot blow his horn about how he is " fighting for the average Canadian" etc etc. by " holding the government to account". Singh wants to keep his five minutes of nightly news time, I doubt he will be willing to give that up anytime soon.

All I have to say is good luck getting a conservative government in. PP isn’t the guy to do it. Recognize that many Liberal voters will NEVER vote CPC under any circumstance.

In discussions with them don't waste your time trying to get them to vote CPC. Just get them to not vote Liberal

I agree... Id say this is the most straightforward strategy.

1. Don't vote PPC/Libertarian. Convince PPC voters to vote CPC. I used to vote Libertarian myself, as some point you give up, or maybe grow up. You vote for the party closest aligned to your views with an actual shot at forming government. Anyone voting for the PPC at this point... sigh... I just can't...

2. Don't bother trying to convince Liberal voters to vote CPC. It might actually drive them to vote Liberal. I'd say it's better to focus on how incompetent, bad, embarrassing Trudeau is as PM. Maybe they won't vote or vote NDP.

Sounds like there will be a spring election and I think the CPC has a solid shot at winning.

PPC is a wasted vote even though I agree with their platform more than the CPC. I will vote CPC strategically, even though my riding is solid red and has had the same clown MP since I was a child.

Best thing to do is talk to people. Too many in my circle thought that CPC was some sort of evil maga cult because they get all their info from US social media. They think the CPC will ban ###s, ban abortions ban ### abortions etc. When you actually talk to them, they start to see how reasonable CPC is. Ive converted several to CPC voters

Look at the election results map from the last election and see just how many red ridings in the east were only hundreds of votes away from going orange. Make no mistake, elections are decided before the counting even hits the prairies. If you are in a riding that has no hope of going blue then help it go orange, that way at least it won't be red. My riding was less than a thousand votes from being blue. This time around we will swing it.
