Ruger American Ranch 7.62x39 magazines and the LAW

So, what is going on with the magazines for the 7.62x39 American Ranch bolt action rifle that can take Mini-30 magazines. Can I get a 10, 20, or 30 round magazine for this rifle since the Mini-30 is prohibited? There are no semi auto rifles that can use the Mini-30 magazines so am I still limited to 5 rounds in the American Range in 7.62x39 or can I take out "the rivet"?
 
I've been curious about this for the 223/556 version of the Ranch and Predator as they're supposed to take AR mags. Will AR mags be prohibited entirely, or will they still be permitted despite the AR-15 being completely prohibited (they were saying AR-15 parts would be too but not sure what all that includes... definitely uppers).

And I wonder if the LAR magazines will be prohibited entirely since the LAR will be too. I'd rather have a flush magazine if it's only going to hold 5 but it would be great to have 10 rounders for when my hands are frozen out controlling coyotes.

Many questions with few answers.

LAR mags are gonna be verboten as soon as the amnesty ends I suspect, because there is no longer a "commonly avaliable handgun" (or whatever the specific wording is) in the market to allow for the handgun limit of 10 rounds.

That is also what I would expect. Rifle magazines don't have the same "commonly avaliable" wording that handguns do as far as I'm aware, so whether the rifle is legal or not probably won't play into it. If anything they'll try to ban the mags entirely before they let you take the rivet out...
 
Every time one of you guys pontificates out loud here on CGN it makes it 1000% times easier for the poly Karen’s to add amendments without any legwork. Deep breath, and dial back the paranoia. If you paid any attention to what is happening, or has happened in the past, you would see how silly this ‘shut up, ‘they’ might be listening’ crap is. ‘They’ dont give a #### what you, or these boards say, ‘they’ are well ahead of you.
 
So I can run 100rd drums in my MVP by this logic? Sounds like a really bad, good idea. The way the law is written may omit specific magazines by name ...what Runkle would call a "very expensive" question to answer.

You give that panel of "experts" way more credit than they deserve. They absolutely use this site to gather info to use against us, they aren't knowledgeable enough about firearms to begin with.
No tinfoil here it's simply one of the downsides to the wonderful internet and I'm all for making these folks work for the info they need rather than serving it to them on a silver platter.

Just like all those idiotic threads regarding this or that rifle, plaintively whining that "I really like the XYZ rifle, but I can't believe/understand why it isn't restricted?" Brilliant.
 
The Liberals love to say they are consulting and working with stake holders but there is very little they can point to as a "bone" thrown towards the stakeholders.

A 10 round magazine limit for all centerfire guns would be an easy bone to throw, but it will most likely be let's get rid of semi auto's that have detachable mags over 5 and make everything 5 ..... for now...... "our work is never done". #everbrown

relax guys, if anyone is really paying attention and half good at research then you'll know the existing system will be history soon enough, keep your stuff and enjoy the show, you're watching a military operation, first you have to get really absurd to help break the mind control and engage as many people as possible to what's been going on for a long long time, then we can come together and at least be in support of what the military needs to do to round up those who work against humanity, collapse the system, rebuild a new one, when this is over we will have suppressors, side arm carry, AR's etc., enjoy the show, it's getting very good, 2023 will be a big one for disclosure to the public, being able to see the future is a curse as much as it's a blessing ;)

and since I took it this far does everyone know what it takes to break the spell on the last percentages of people? a significant emotion response...near death experience, so things are going to look very ugly very soon and we all get to enjoy this dark walk through the tunnel together since many can't seem to fathom they're under the spell and manipulated, they need to be drug back to humanity kicking and screaming
