The grips aren't my cup of tea but I'm a sucker for a nice looking 1911. Looks like you have an almost matching pair..... congratulations!

FYI the photo section had a thread devoted to 1911s. This pair would nicely fit in that collection of pics.

I'll give you $400 for the one on the left! Its a Norinco, right? :)

Thanks for the offer Darko! If I ever change my mind I'll let you know!
In this new era of plastic guns...where people confuse 1911 and Government, stocks and grips, clips and magazines...it's good to see that some folks are still interested in 1911's.............

Why the Nork, you don't like the S&W on the right?:D:rolleyes:

How is it that the barrel on your LB is perfectly black? Have you not shot it? I didn't even know you could order it with a blued barrel like yours. Looks sweet.

Yes it's been shot! This gun is not blued..it's Bearcoated, it's a polyceramic...tougher, more resistant to scratch and rust and non reflective (black). It's a full tactical pistol, like LB used to make for H&R teams etc. SRP=swift response pistol

Of course. Les Bear's famous for their Bearcoat. Is that a recent shot of it? If so, about how many rounds down range with it do you figure? I'm astounded how that barrel hood shows no signs of wear. Is the coating that tough? Those grips are really nice looking too and you can't beat the Trij Novak night sights. Where did you get it from? Did you have a long wait? Sorry for all the questions but that is one fine 1911.

The Barrel hood will start to show wear (nothing better than a beat up 1911 anyways), they are not Novak sights, Les uses a knockoff from "Champion". Very nice set, enjoy and great picture.
