anyone know where to buy Tavor SAR-21 Barrels/bolts?

I'm asking a retailer I've dealt with a fair amount to see if they can special order because I doubt NS, being a distributor, will sell directly to consumer. But the question stands, if anyone knows, please let me know. thx.
 
Trying to find a barrel for this thing just reinforces how awesome the AR platform is. Tavor barrel done? Buy a new 3k rifle. AR barrel done? Spend 200-700 and you're GTG.

I'm thinking about using IRG or ##### but my second issue is I don't even know if there is a replacement SKU available. IWI US doesn't have an 18.5 inch bolt/barrel kit on their US site.

Getting a barrel imported isn't that hard, but they'll be too short.

Somebody like herron arms can take your existing barrel/gas assembly and fit a new barrel... won't be as cheap or easy as an AR barrel but will probably be cheaper than buying a complete new barrel/gas assembly from IWI and certainly cheaper than tossing the rifle out and replacing it.

How many rounds did it take to burn out your Tavor barrel?
 
FYI I found a source. If anyone else is interested in getting a spare bolt or barrel, let me know and I'll update once my order has been confirmed.

Interested in your source as I may only be able to obtain a 9mm and I’ll want to replace with 556 parts.
 
Just booting this back up. A while back I asked IWI about SAR barrels & assemblies and they outright told me the assemblies won't fit in Canadian TAR-21's without MAJOR modifications (their words) - did they lie to me? I thought they were identical, apart from the "Made in Israel" stamp and factory lengths?
 
bolt ee is very good for that.

barrel well i dont think i will burn but if it s happening then i will have to use another rifle ... but the accuracy is not the forte of the platform so not worried at all ...

There's a guy on the EE selling an X95 dual ejector bolt refresh kit but wants over 300 which is mental. I got them for 80 or 90 from CSC when they had them instock a couple years ago or so.
 
Keep your eye on Az tech Armoury. I ordered my Manticore Arms charging handle thorough them.

As you said, years ago. Average retail cost of a brand new bolt for the past year has been $230 ish
