Is there any loophole or possible way I can still aquire a handgun? I git my RPAL days after the freexe and missed my chance. What option do I still have?

I know a guy who knows a guy who sells cigarettes. That's the real answer. Antiques, single action has half the parts in the lock, so a Reichsrevolver might be better value than a DA S&W.

1. hope CPC wins an election and repeals c21

2. get a .22 for olympic shooting (this is probably near impossible in reality)

you could become elligible for wilderness carry or join a team recognized to train for the olympics. Or vote conservative and hope PP reverses this mess.

All that has stopped is the transfer of registrations.

Nothing to prevent sales and purchases.

You can buy and sell unregistered handguns. My guess is that about 40% of the handguns are unregistered. Lots to chose from.

When they re-open the registry, you can then register what you bought (if you choose to do so).

I’m not sure this would work, but, There’s an exemption for atc holders. Get a part time job at brinks or guarda. Buy your want list, quit.

I’m unsure how they cfo are handling the exemptions now, so maybe someone can chime in. Could an “Olympic shooter” buy a Glock? Could a wilderness protection atc holder buy an Olympic target pistol? Could an armed guard (whose gun is owned and supplied by the company) purchase a pistol for recreational use?

All gonna come down to the cfo interpretation.

Armed guards can only carry firearms owned by the company and while working.

The cfo isn't going to question Olympic shooters about models of guns. If they need it to train, the cfo won't dare second guess them.

They had a meeting a few weeks ago and from what I heard they are divided on how it's going to work but they want a list of approved guns from the IOC.
