Original Israel Military Industries UZI. This piece is marked SMOS. UZI. 066303 over IMI on the left of the receiver. This is a full auto status piece that can only be sold to someone with the full auto statue or as a deactivated item. The example, as offered, is an original example showing its original Parkerized finish and a bright excellent bore. Comes with a 5 round pinned magazine.

I'd give my eye teeth for a nice select fire Thompson. .45 acp at less than a dime a round would be nice too.

Been eyeing that one for a while (at least two years?) but a bit overpriced IMO and something more pertinent always comes up [sigh] Guess it was not meant to be... and I have some 45acp parts to do a caliber conversion on it too...

Agreed. 12(X) prices ought to be coming down as the potential pool of licensed owners continually dwindles away. Right now they seem to be holding steady and quite healthy based on auction results over this past Summer and Fall. FWIW, I paid $1200 for this virtually unfired Fabrique Nationale de Guerre Uzi manufactured under license for the Congolese National Army back in 1977. I got it from Peter Wilke himself, out of his private collection.
