bolt knobs

I`m looking to get an oversized/tactical bolt knob installed on my rem 700.

I`ve been looking at Badger, Tps and Dlask knobs.

anyone know where can I get one in Canada.

What are my options when it comes down to aftermarket bolt knobs.

A tac knob is bigger and easier to handle. Cons is it's heavier..

I have a badger on a Rem 700.....Love it. Much easier to grab with gloves on and in cold weather.

Weight really isn't much of an issue as it is made entirely of aluminum.

I put one on my coyote rifle as I usually am out in cold weather with big gloves and it makes reloading so much easier.

i have custom tactical knobs on my guns from A.T.R.S and i would never go back there just so much easier to handle. plus it makes ur gun look that much cooler/

They also gain you a mechanical advantage. If you get one that is heavier you will notice that closing the bolt is pretty effortless. Just get it into motion and the weight finishes it off........I know pretty silly, but its' true.

I've never grabbed a bolt, but was tought to open and close it with the palm/heel of my hand.
I've tried oversized "tactical" bolts and do not like them for the simple fact that you can't feel the bolt at all.
I can feel any differences in a case while I close the bolt, and if the case is tight coming out, I notice it right away.

But better for "posing" yes, I guess they are....
