Bought some magazines from a dealer (sponsor here) a while ago, had them sitting, went to the range yesterday and guess what.

Pinned to 8.

What if I would not have found out? Usually I just put 5 in and don't bother anymore.

Your in possession of a prohibited item.
Why wouldn't you just fix the issue to become compliant instead of broadcasting that your technically a criminal to the world

Some gun grabber!

What about un pinning it all together and mark it as paintball magazine?

Mods: This is a joke.

Well what do you want to know? Should you report it?

I highly doubt you’d be charged with something over a simple mistake, FFS , some of you guys .

This just seems like a virtue signal. Let's rat out dealers and other people. Maybe it was a pistol mag supose to be pinned to 10 rds. If it is supose to be 5 rounds pin it and move on . We don't need to be ratting out dealers and eachother. We need to stand untied in times like these .

Well, I did not rat out anybody. Don't you think I know what a pistol magazine is or LAR (which is not pinned anyways)? :HR:

Nobody suggested to inform the dealer, so I guess I just leave it like that.

It is quite possible the dealer did not know of the error... it is quite possible the dealer took it in as a pinned magazine on a trade. If it were mine I would fix it and let the dealer know about it...
