I am looking for something that is good on a 30-30 or a 223.

This is intended for some Predator control work.

I am not looking for Navy Seal quality or pricing, but something that would allow an accurate shot to 100 yds.

Yeah its an old post drug up. I have a Sightmark Wraith 4k, I think it's a 4-32.
Magnification is a joke, it gets super grainy if you go anything but low power. But 4x is pretty good for anything the illuminator will show.

The included ir illuminator is decent for the price, it will light up 300+ yds when you use fresh batteries. It does eat batteries so you have to be mindful of that.

The reticle is not bad, but I have no experience with any NV other than this one.

I've successfully "watched" a lot of coyotes at night in the field with this optic if that helps. Pic rail allows you to mount it easily to a compatible tripod? or your favorite pic equipped piece of equipment.

It's a cheap optic but it hammers the easy button if you are a nighttime wildlife watcher...

I have captured pics of coyotes at 300 yds with my sightmark.
