How many legit 49 non refurb SKS?

Were there 1949 SKSs with a spike bayonet that had a 45 degree gas port? I have seen a couple refurbed 49's with 45s and I used to own a heavy refurbed 1949 with a 45, but it also had a blade bayonet.

Cool info that I have learnt spiraling thru this thread and the links.

Anywhere I can find info on these couple SKS's? These have alphabetical serial numbers tho one is not stamped up top and from what I gather '58 production?

Sorry to thread jack! Please delete if need be.

Look for the SKS boards on the interwebs & you can go down the rabbit hole...

Just picked up this one. Looks to have original stock and blueing with internally pinned magazine

I have yet to find a non-refurbished '49, but several stock replacement refurbs. For the record, my most accurate SKS was a well worn '49 in a proper factory-fitted replacement laminate stock. The rifling was almost as smooth as a baby's a$$, yet held tight 3 MOA. I had a similar experience with a well worn early 1950.

I bought two back in the days from a retailer. Both were advertise a non-refurbs both were fakes... The only one that probably even harder to find in non-refurb 53 Izhevsk.
