Lynx 180B Match Review

A 1.5mm mismatch is the price to pay to be able to run all optics. It's within the adjustment range of most quality iron sights if you want those.

Sad excuse for laziness in the design phase as the receiver clearly has enough space to have the rail lowered if the design team took just a little bit more time to remeasure and adjust things.

Your product has the potential to kick some serious butt but you say screw it on a extremely important part of the firearm, why would you do that?

Sorry, but no. You have no clue what you're talking about.

The height of the rail above the receiver is the minimum that allows for all optics to work. The thickness of the top of the receiver is the minimum that we can go without running into rigidity problems. Optical compatibility is more important than a small mismatch, which is within the adjustment range of back up sights.

You can see here how thin the top already is:

SBI, I only recently became aware of your 180 offerings and I am quite impressed, that being said I was wondering if you would consider offering the one thing that all 180 manufacturers in Canada have failed to do so far... a retro-inspired upper like the brownells 180. I really want that retro charging handle and dust cover mixed with the Mlok hg.

Perhaps you should see if you can team up with Brownells to offer a Canadian compliant NR upper that fits your lowers. Even if you made the receiver sets and then just sourced all the parts from Brownells for us to build ourselves that would be freaking amazing. There seemed to be a great extent of Interest from others for the same thing in previous 180 threads including Jr's R18 threads...

Unfortunately retro style guns are really only bought by a limited market, and in an already small marked like Canada it's just not practical to make. Once we have our complete Model C-71 10/22 rifle production setup and for sale we can get back to working on our AR-180B bcg. We will look at doing a bent style charging handle. Please don't email us asking when our BCG will be ready.

I talked about what you get by this change in the video. My other 180 upper rails won't work with an EOTech or even my Aimpoint PRO QD mount. I'd rather have a more compliant pic rail that works with QD mounts than a perfect match with the handguard.
