hard to tell from just this picture alone, But it could very well be for a late war k98k. As they stoped using milled "h" style barrel bands, and began using stamped and welded style bands instead.
That's also MILLED.. They made the Milled H-style (early war), Milled full style (that one, mid war) then Stamped Kriegs(late war), with the tell tale weld spots..
The milled fulls, were mid war, they cut down on time making the H shape.
That's odd. I've seen lots of K98s yet I've never seen this full style. I'm no expert, however. I imagine in pictures it would be hard to distinguish between this and the stamped late war kinds.
