Commercial Pellet Trap?

I like my champion 22LR trap for pellets.

But if you are shooting inside. You might want to put some duct seal or a flap to prevent richoet. I find pockets all over the basement.

I have the Champion as well. I have piece of core plastic clipped to the front to back up the paper target so I don't seem to have an issue with ricochet or debris. I also have a wooden box filled with rubber mulch and covered in core plastic that also works well.

My first indoor trap was the metal Outer's version that looks identical to the Champion. It worked fine but was noisy and I always had a layer of lead dust in front. I realize the OP wasn't interested in a DIY trap but I'll add a suggestion anyway. A simple trap can be made from a 10" x 10" electrical box and a couple on inches of duct seal to make a silent pellet trap. It will cost a bit to buy the bricks of duct seal but it lasts forever. My old duct seal trap is now 22 years old and still working fine. I made a wood frame from scraps I had laying around but any small wood or metal box will work to contain the duct seal putty.

Another DIY trap I use alot is. A milk crate with a piece of plywood screwed on the bottom to stick the duct seal to. That I just put a bulldog clip on the top to hang targets.

I just throw my pellets, targets etc in it. Throw it in the back of the trailer to take to the back of my property where my range is.

Well situation dictates. Most duct seal traps are good for 800-1000 FPS 22 With about 1" layer of putty. I used to test mine close range. I use the champion in the basement to test pellet guns. Outside it's not really deeded as nothing behind me. It's just mainly to hang targets from, extra level of safety, and being considerate.

Anyone actually read the original post? The question he asked?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a reliable "non-DIY" pellet-trap?

Yes I recommended a 22LR one, on the 2nd post. Without knowing what the OP has, something rated for 22LR would be the best. I wouldnt buy them at full value as i got mine on clearance.

I have 6 pellet traps if you count the commercial 3 spinner ones, and the 2 DIY.

Also we don't know if they are in a non rural area. That the sound may annoy the neighbors.

I have some do all, and a remignton pellet trap, but they are small, about 6" square. I got the Remington one from PA. The do-all I wouldnt use anything more than sub 500 fps, that I got from Amazon
.
But I dented them with BB guns.

Recently got a "DO ALL - Bullet Box" from Amazon. It's rated for .22's - but not under 25'. When I was researching, most of the pellet gun rated traps, got poor ratings - they dented up pretty fast and didn't seem to hold up. This one got good ratings - it was twice as expensive as the pellet ones. It seems pretty substantial. Weight is 17.5 lbs and the back plate is .195" - so, near 3/16" ? The opening is 11" wide and 9.5" tall. Assembly required - took me about 10 minutes. Still haven't tried it out, so my "review" (such as it is) ends here.

I've shot 1000's of .177 pellets @ ~700 fps into a cardboard box full of old rags. Some of the more powerful airguns, you may want something more substantial.

I have both the duct seal DIY type and the .22lr Champion bullet trap. For outdoor the trap is the bee's knees- works well for both pellets and .22lr. For inside it would work but I feel it would be noisy and lead-dusty. It is pretty well built- I don't envision ever having enough time or ammo to wear it out.
