Lynx 180B Upper Receiver Info Thread

I have a Lynx 180B, will this upper still needs to be hand fitted - especially the take down lug? I'm using a component trigger (RRA National match component trigger), will there be an issue with the bottom plate that is mentioned at your site?

I dont know about the botton plate, but it fit into mine 180Match lower without any hand fitting.

@SpectreBallistics
Did the anodizing in the barrel nut threads also thicker than expected? I cant even start threading the BCM barrel nut for a "dry fit" of the parts.

Certainly possible, even though you're the only person to report the issue.

It was the a slightly thicker portion of the anodize in the just the first turn of the thread. I was able to thread the barrel nut after a little sanding. Now just wait for the rifle length gas system from TNA for final assembly.

Has anyone tried one of these uppers on an MCR lower?

Sounds like SBI does not support it, however with some generous filing of one of the original SBI uppers I’ve made it work on an MCR lower. A little bit more play than otherwise but it works fine. And obviously you give up the usually MCR style upper cross pin.

Anyone who has the blemish upper, did you find the guide rods when inserted into the upper are tight? I put together the lynx 180b upper yesterday and I noticed the rods were tight going into the holes in the upper.

Right hand charge uppers are in stock now and ready to order.

Let hand charge uppers are finished, we just need to assemble them, do product photos and add them to the site. Should be ready to order tomorrow afternoon.

Your website is still showing me just the left hand change right hand eject uppers unless I'm missing something obvious.

I'm experiencing the same thing. Can't get rod into the one side and not sure how best to fit this. Also, not a blem upper - mine is one of the regular production uppers. Sage guidance pretty please?
