I just got one in the mail. I was told only about 10 in Canada so far, but I cannot confirm that. It’s very nice feeling and looking.
Just got mine in the mail as well (trapper) and I am very impressed with the quality and feel

$4000!? I would have taken that and ran lol. You could buy two more when they eventually become more plentiful and still come out ahead lol.

If someone wants to offer me $4k let me know lol. They are nice though.
Put it on gun-post, ask $4000.00 shipped and insured, see what happens?
If it sells, you are up some jake!
But wait, you will no longer have one of the nicest guns in history!.......![]()
This is why I have yet to part ways with it. This is not my most expensive gun in .y collection, but for it's price it sure feels the best
I would not part with yours Steers.
It has a low serial number and was one of the first six guns to enter Canada if I'm not mistaken.
Being new in the box, unfired and un-touched by man so to speak, really makes it even more valuable.
Maybe you are holding a $5000.00 Marlin, one never knows!..........![]()
It was the first of 4 that came into the country, or so it was told when the auction happened
Lots of grey market guns came in aside from our slow importer.
The one I have was imported by the Korth group. I had to pay them directly for it so it's a legit imported one. I have the paperwork and everything for it
Ugh, the rail though!?
That’s what the little beauty ruger calls the trapper is for.. 16” barrel and no rail.
Unless it has a special serial number or something, I can't see it being worth more than any other one that comes into the country...but maybe that's just me lol![]()
He’s saying it’s from Korth to confirm that it’s not grey market

Ah ha! What's the muzzle velocity of your average 45/70 out of a 16" barrel?
