You probably have one of those classy sks's to shoot instead of pukin'...
Send along a target and see how it stacks up against the Mauser....:sniper:

Negative, no SKS in the safe......
And I'll let you in on a little secret....scopes don't make guns more accurate. That mauser was quite capable of shooting that group with the irons.
I just wish people would learn how to shoot with irons rather then ruin a piece of history. WTF do you need a scope for to shoot at 100m? It makes no sense to me that someone would do that to a mauser just to shoot it at 100m a few times then sell it.
Who ever did that is your typical moron that does not appreciate history and would have been far better served himself buying a brand new Rem 700 in 8mm probably for far less money then it cost to butcher a beautiful rifle.
The only gun I own with a scope on it is a 10/22. Here are some targets shot with an M1, M1917, and K31, all with irons, benched at 100m. The are the best groups from the day out, but are easily repeatable to within 1/2 of what you see. Notice they are not pussy 3 round groups either......

Here's a little secret for you, neither do iron sights.

Other peoples piece of history = other peoples buisness. I wish people would learn to mind their own buisness, there are way to many know nothing dictators.

10 yds or 500yds it makes no difference. The rear sight is always the same distance from the eye.
