Yep. Older Leupold M8 in fixed 2.5 or 3 power.
Other end of cost, 1-6 Kahles is what I would buy/mount.
I can do it easily as well from a desk top. From a mobile, I then have to sign up for a hosting site free or otherwise. I don’t post from my desktop often. I’ve found that generally someone who is really interested will send a message with contact info and I quickly send them what they are asking for. It hasn’t created a single roadblock to selling success for me as of yet. You may not appreciate the fact that myself and others like me post adds with the message me for pics statement. That’s ok, you may not be my target market! An additional side benefit to this is that I often end up in quick communication with the buyer via cell phone texting followed up by an instant EMT to my cell phone, rather than messaging back and forth through the website. Different strokes!

3 or so weeks ago I wanted to buy a scope which was listed on the EE. I messaged the seller to send me pictures which he did. I then replied to him that I want to buy it. He replied to me then (literally 5 minutes later) that he just sold it to somebody who did not ask for pictures.

Also curious about the Sig Sauer scopes. Temporarily mounted one, but do not think I will even shoot it like that. Might be a good way to mess up a nice little scope for a .22 CF.
well the old farts like me lol are not evolving and what is working for you is great and really makes me happy for you.
I am not a young fart, nor am I a very old fart. I have kept pace with some technology, but not all technology. Somehow I get by!
i kept as well ahead with some technologies but i will say it is easier to post pictures instead of having to beg to see them and each someone want extra pictures i always provided it but again you can do whatever is working for you. and i cant surf on phone i do not use the smart side of the phone.

THIS. The 1.5-5x is one of the best all-around scopes ever made. I could do most of my hunting with that scope. Not great for prairie dogs or sheep, but for most everything it's nearly unbeatable.
It's a Vari X so it was cheaper. I have it in medium Warne QD rings with the recoil lug that fits into the top of the receiver.
It's a handy setup and very comforting to have in the tent in the high arctic.

I have both and can confirm that, after years of strenuous testing, your wiener will not drop off if you have the older version. Believe me.
Hard to beat the Leupold Vari- XIII/VX-III/VX-3's in 1.5-5x20!

Have also found that the 1.75-6x32 and 2.5-8x36 also work very well in these applications.
For a few dollars more ($50-150 more than for a Leupold), I have also been able to pick up quality used S&B and Kahles 1.5-6x42 scopes with #4 reticles and 30mm tubes for my 9.3x62 and 376 Steyr...and just missed out on a Zeiss in the same configuration that may have been right up your alley. Swarovski also made one in this configuration IIRC.
Keep an eye on EE as they come up from time-to-time. Bright and clear, adn easy to pick up targets in quickly when hunting in any type of light or terrain.
The biggest advantage you will get from the better quality glass is going to be able to use your scope longer during low light conditions than you will be able to with cheaper quality brands and glass. They just do not have the light transmission of the better glass and coatings. If you only hunt under full light and good weather conditions, out in the open, it may not affect you...but if you hunt dawn to dusk under all hunting conditions and terrain types, you will be happier in the end with the better glass! This is where you get what you pay for is really going to prove to be true! (You do not have to be a scope snob to realize this benefit...just a hunter)

Bushnell engage 1-4 and Bushnell forge 1-8 are ones I use and I really like them. Both have illuminated dot. Very Good and great glass respectfully and great fast target acquisition with the dot. The forge is almost equal to my nightforce for glass quality with my eyes
