As the title states, I have a new unfired Cooey 39 with the box, instructions and inspection tag. I'm trying to determine a dollar value to ask for it and I was also wondering if there is a serial number reference anywhere? Any help would be appreciated.

If this is any indication where pricing is going...

If it is serial numbered, is it a Winchester-Cooey? Don't think that original Cooeys were numbered.
A Model 39 in absolutely new unfired condition, in the box with hang tags would certainly be of interest to a collector.
Decent used ones are bringing $150 these days. Would someone pay $500? More?

Other than what has become collectible (and condition is king) modern Cooeys are about the last thing I would collect. It would not surprise me though if you get $400 for it.

Thx Raton,
I know it's an 82, have a few of them.
The point being even an 82 was only worth a 1/3 of the price paid at that auction 3 yrs ago.
Same as a 39, was only going for $250 at best.
Today pretty sure $450-500 would not be asking too much for a NIB.

Whoever bought that gun was a complete fool considering it's drilled full of holes for that scope. Stupid people get caught up in things they don't understand. That's a $300 model 82, tops

Remember that auction...two guys (screwdriver & farmin4life) having a pissing match.
Think the other bidders dropped out around $600....Just crazy!

Auctions are an addictive hobby.
How about a non-working Cooey model 35 went for $600+ taxes, commission and shipping.
