Does anyone know if these are still produced, either in stock or available to order, can't get much info. In particular I would like the 1892 deluxe trapper, in .44 magnum, 16" barrel.
cheers Bob

yes, I have a Henry very similar with case hardening, 20 inch barrel, I kinda want this particular model this time. However I will contact these guys to see if they can order it. thanks for the tip.

I can appreciate the short rifle.
I have a Henry 45 colt 16”. It’s a compact little package for sure.

Nice, yea I like the look and the 92 deluxe, it get's my attention. I don't even want the take down option but it seems that is the only way they produce them at this time!

I got a chiappa 1892 off the ee last year with the 16 inch barrel case hardened reciever and it’s a nice handy little rifle
Be nice to see some actual winchesters all the ones I see have the 24.5 barrels on them

Yep, I could be wrong but, it seems most folks are looking for the 16" or 20" barrels, the 20" are a bit more plentiful but the 16" appear to be an order only deal, so far I sent messages to International and Irunguns with no response, for some reason my lgs says he cant order the short model, maybe his supplier won't/can't bring them in. I will keep trying.

What's going on with Winchesters supply chain? I feel like their model 70s and lever guns are always out of stock and are rarely restocked? Is it all by custom order these days? I see some retailers let you pre order a Winchester (in full) with no defined ETA.

It seems like Henry's show up far more often than Winchester.

I would try Prophet River

I waited over a year with notifications at several dealers and never heard anything.

Was about to import one from the US and just by chance my WTB ad in the CGN EE netted me a 4 years old 1892 Trapper TD, mint condition, just before Christmas. Hard to find but worth the wait.

Good luck!

I'd see if Range View Sports can order you one in. Seems they have a bunch of other winchester rifles on site with special order tags, just not the one you are after.

Found a 24" and a 20" in stock.

I will check with them too, I just sent another pm to IRG, he answered my first PM and said they could order one in but are out of stock right now,,, then said go through the import process, problem is that there are no lever actions on the site to choose so needed a product number to attach. Plus I need a price quote. So will check these other places for order options and pricing.

The 16" model 1892's were shotshow specials, and were produced in 2011 in two versions, trapper and big loop saddle ring carbine, and 2018 as the deluxe takedown case hardened. There were also 16" takedowns produced around 2016? that were blued and not case hardened.
I don't think they are a regular production, so that's why nobody can order any for you.
