My "son" delivered the a/n rifle last night. I bought it from a good BC CGN'r. It is brand spankin' new.

Thanks goes to "dgradinaru", who hand delivered it to my nephew's place in BC.

I'll need to be a bit more careful when I throw this one on the pile. She'll be a mate to the Zastava 8x57 that my wife bought me for Christmas last year.

They're a great rifle, just as reliable and accurate as the Tikka T3x's, but all wood and metal. Yours appears to have the 24 inch barrel, which means it's a Lux II. Yours will have that awesome set trigger. If that barrelled-action was good enough for the Canadian Ranger trials, it's a good one in my books! Enjoy.

If you wanted to re-add the sights, Wolverine has all the parts in stock, and I have a spare front sight assembly minus the base.

That calibre is a real moose stopper. Buy up all the factory Norma you can find.

This will prove to be true. The only reason I don’t have one for myself is that I have enough CRF rifles in that caliber.

Ah, c'mon now. How could you possibly have "enough" CRF rifles? :p In all the 60+ years I've been buying guns, I think this is only maybe the third brand new modern "big rifle" I've got.
