Doesn't matter as long as I have one with lots of ammo to feed it.

Martini Enfield that looks like it's 'Been there done that, got the T-shirt'.
Running a decent, easy to source, powerful cartridge in the 303 British, albeit a bit noisy coming out of a 19" bbl. Nice and simple, and quite slim side to side. Like a nice Iron automatic pistol, flat is good. Goes in places others won't.
Got a Greener MK 3 in the works, IMA is sending the necessary parts at the moment. 12 ga 2 3/4" thank god.
And it's got Panache... life is too short to pack boring guns IMO

A 14" shotgun with a stock seems like the sweet spot in my mind. Buck or slug can be had and loaded readily. The pistol grips on the shockwave, tac14 etc do nothing for me. Still need a stock. An short barrel AR would make sense but HAAAAAAAAAH. Not in this country.

Haha, well, there are truck guns and there are truck guns. From the way the OP worded it, I'm going to assume he's asking about the legitimate option. Easily packed, in and out of the vehicle as the law dictates.

I keep a gun in my truck pretty much all the time because with my work I’m driving in the early morning. I’ve mercy killed four wounded deer ., two elk and a moose. Also in hunting season I pot grouse and have a slug available for a deer or elk .the bushmaster ruger sounds great!

What do you folks do with your truck gun when you get home .... or when you go to sleep.

I mean storage regulations apply at that time ....

Here, it’s the boat and plane gun, as the roads in coastal BC don’t lead you as interesting of places and are too limited. Handy with iron sights is the name of the game, usually it happens to be a Winchester too.

I think wherever you go in this country the long way, there’s good #### to be found. Seen some Ontarian friends’ adventures and seems there’s lots out there when you go far enough in every province and territory.

This all said I do like being where my monsters roam.
