NON-RESTRICTED 9mm luger bolt actions canada

I wonder if anyone has tried that? You'd need some sort of magwell adapter I'm thinking? Or are full size mags in 9mm a thing?

With all the interest in 9mm manual action guns lately (there's been at least 3 good size threads in the last few weeks) I wonder if a mini version of the Renegade is in the works specifically for pistol calibers...

I think it would work with a 9mm AR barrel, a mag adapter for colt/uzi mags and a 9mm bolt in one of those MRA bolt carriers. Is there something I am missing but I'm pretty sure that this is all thats require to convert an 556 AR to a 9mm AR.

I almost feel tempted to try and source the parts to give it a go but I really just cant stomach the thought of a manual AR.

Don't blowback 9mm ARs have a large one piece bolt, replacing the bolt carrier plus bolt used in locked breech gas operated ARs?

That means that 9mm would not be an option in one of the manually operated rifles like MRA or Spectre unless a locking 9mm bolt were an option. The 9mm AR conversions are unlocked blowback.

9mm AR barrels are different than 5.56. They don't use a rotating locking bolt lug system.

Also 9mm bolts has no ejector on the bolt as it is on the mag adapter.

There is a new 9mm lever action annonce at shot maybe it could do wat you want

The only problem with that (think it was called the Tombstone) is that it's somewhere in the range of $2200 Cdn if memory serves me correctly.

I am hoping Henry comes out with a Golden Boy in 9mm lever. That definitely would be compelling for me.

Even that would be super $$$.

I like it! Just gotta find one like it now in a non-restricted barrel length.

I didn't see anyone inform you yet... there isn't any relevant barrel length restrictions on bolt action rifles, that rifle is totally non-restricted.
With a standard stock, you can pretty much choose any logical barrel length you want.

As long as you don't cut a factory under 18". But those armscor TCM 22 are near a grand, then you need to convert them to 9mm.
