Dilemma to reload obsolete cartridges with the brass on which I worked: from the 32 S&W short to the 455 Webley via the 41 Vetterli converted to CF (only long weapon with an Evans 44)
The missing balls will be cast outside in the spring.
I'm too old to play with a multitude of components, a "one for all" would be perfect
My first idea: Goex FFG: but end of production following accidents at the factory.(i own 2lbs unopened)
Current availability due to shortage: I have the choice between:
Switzerland 1.5 FG
Schuetzen 1 FG-2 FG-3 FG
Or drastically change to:
triple seven
trail boss
Sporadic use for the fun of having something alive in hand; more often reduced shot, primer and rubber bullet
I am well-equipped to reload by volume or weight, I value my ancestral as a placement, as well as my fingers for scratching.

Given my own personal experience the easiest to come by would likely be Triple7.

Swiss is the gold standard these days. It is a little more powerful than Goex. I seem to recall about 10% more powerful.
I believe Schuetzen is about equal to or slightly less powerful than Goex, and might be a little dirtier.
I don't have direct experience with either.
I have no use for the substitutes. I have read they are all much more corrosive than BP. Besides that, the ignition temp. is too high for a flinter, and I shoot flint.

I agree .. the boys down south have adopted the Schuetzen (more so) and the Swiss. They work fine. If you watch any video shoots from Friendship etc, cans of Schuetzen are everywhere.
 
I've found Schuetzen to be pretty accurate but with way less energy than Swiss. My preference is Swiss, then Old Eynsford ( I'm pretty sure this is going to be produced again before long ).

But this is for competition in Silhouettes or Mid/Long range target rifle. For closer ranges I don't think it matters quite as much. For example, I have a fantastically accurate schuetzen rifle in .38-55 and it really works well with plain Goex Fg. Many people would not even think of trying plain Goex Fg in a .38-55 but it works very well in this particular rifle.

Problem solved thanks to your advice. thank you!
I have 2 lbs of Goex 2FG that will be useful for long guns, but the hardest part was finding a seller of Schuetzen 3 FG for handgun with a reasonable shipping price even if I understand the dangerous goods surcharge.
