I have one 1-6 LPVO - it was an impulse buy based on some wooow recommendation from another airgun forum - the paralax is preset at 100 yards/meters.
This glass is really nice built and real quality clarity, I like the CTSIX reticle as well, but I could never get used to this low power just for rings shooting beyond 50 meters, for PRS may be much better but my gunclub doesn't have the range setup.
It looks like the winter is shorter this year, the tree-rats started earlier scouting my walnut trees, so I got the idea where can I employ this my LPVO.
Today morning I toke it out from my drawers, tried to set the focus 5-10 meters, but the parallax was so ugly and the scope was completely useless on these short distances out of focus, maybe for elephant size targets only?
I may try moving that front lens ... otherwise sending back to a drawer, I have no other use for this scope.
Q: Do we have any scope service left in Canada or preferably in Toronto area, who may be willing too re-tune or de-tune the parallax from 100 meters to something shorter I don't know 50 or 20 meters?
I look at the front ring I don't want to play mechanic with a screwdriver.
