hunting down Zamberlans

so its a bit random but it will see the traffic here to Ask if you Canadians have any Zamberlan boots in the hunting Stores or Hiking stores over there??

so far i cannt find any of what i want in Aus... ??

i got scammed online via a zamebrlanaus shop "fake" website..... lucky for ######, fingers crossed.

Ive emailed Zamberlan, they said Use a Spanish site called Tradeinn...... as being legit- reviews vary?

ive asked some Aus stores an none have this Boot an all are still "getting back " to me about the model.

WASATCH 981 GTX rr............ is what im chasing. How much would they be in Canadian can you find out? pretty please

if you havnt seen Zambys before.... well sheeesh!?

Zamberlan make some excellent boots, I used them for years. Like you, I need a taller boot for the country I work and hunt in. I switched to Haix a number of years ago, and I'm much happier with them. And their CS for online purchasing is outstanding. If they'll ship to you I would consider them.
 
...zamberlan canada, as pointed out above is a pretty new offering from zamberlan and sometimes has good sales.

Surprisingly, bass pro in moncton usually has zamberlan in stock, and is where I purchased my Wasatch boots.

never heard but all ears.. can u link me? i can only see mid cuts or fire fighter ones :)

website sayin CAD $439 ,,,, around $475 AUD...... whats estimate on shipping pair of boots to Aus ?
ive been quoted $80 from Spain ... with that tradeinn website..

Sorry bud, I had a closer look and it turns out Haix will only ship direct to USA/CAN. If you can find a Haix distributor in AUS, I use a GoreTex forestry boot for wet weather hunting (Protector Ultra), and an unlined wildland firefighter boot (Missoula) for dry weather.

But in a similar vein, I have used heavy duty mountaineering boots for hunting in rough country and I've been very happy with them (Scarpa and La Sportiva). The hunting and hiking brands that I've tried just generally didn't stand up to hard use. It's all about fit though, I'm sure you know, and it's tough to find an online retailer with a liberal return/exchange policy.

yeah thanks, i found down here stores were high priced, some online places were offering decent prices on mid cuts, im going to hit up zamberlan italy again for direct deal.... i think i need these boots specifically ... there might be alternative in Crispi, but $700aud ..... i should land Wasatches for much less!

ill look into that as ill be goin there to hunt hence needing some boots sooner , typically the nzd is poor..... so expect them to be $700nzd ?? il look it up

edit- quick reveal show no wasatches, only mids, an a fancy $850nzd boot.... 800aud. it seems they too need to order from italy...but atleast it would be legit .. i migght sus that avenue if aussie wont deliver by end of mrch
 
I think mine were around 569 plus tax,a few seasons ago (boots have held up well after many miles of upland birds and tracking deer in abusive country).

I've seen better prices with the sales they've been offering online lately through their website.

thanks mate, yeah thats good to here re lasting many miles.. thats where im going with this set- previously used leather goretex boots of take off style to lowa c8? or whatever, but i tend to get 2 years out of them, they are ex serbian army? boots a guy in nz got bulk of. for $170-190 its not bad.
anything less an im wearing out in 12 months max-

hear good of lowa, ranger an tibet, but tibet is heavy an ranger is low/mid an $650 aud.

wasatch is where im at i rekon for sure.

My wife bought me a pair of Zamberlans winter boots for Christmas she just phoned Zamberlan in the US told them they werent available in Canada on their website and he sold thewm to her no muss no fuss
