Well the PFS I ordered for my TMS arrived today and 3-5 werks ahead of the predicted lead time. To say I am pleased with the end result is an understatement. Target Shotguns Inc in North Carolina did a real bang up job, especially on the Grade 1 English Walnut grip. I dropped the black polymer comb off today at a local hydro dip shop to have it dipped in a wood grain finish to try to match as close as possible and do away with the black plastic look.

Looks like a pogo stick, says the guy that shoots an Elisio tube gun stocked target rifle. Very nice, but I am afraid that I would be playing with too many adjustments at a time.

That does look great Spank hope its all that you hoped for. Will be interested in your op on the performance ,I have one on my model 12 and know how good it can be.

What did that set you back? I've always resisted paying bug bucks for a stock that I would adjust once and then never touch it again.

Trap shooters never adjust something once that's part of the game . Have fun with it Spank and now add a release trigger to it and you can really knock yourself out. The quest never ends.

Very nice. I say anything that keeps us shooting longer is a good thing.

You may already know this but Victor (the same one you've mentioned in other posts) makes really nice wooden cheek pieces for PFS stocks. He may have one that's a good match already made.

Thanks I'll get hold of him. My wife just got her BT-99 back from him yesterday after having an adjustable comb installed.

Vic Tomlinson of Ontario?

I'd rather not post that on here. It wasn't cheap but about half the price of having a fitted stock made by Phil Simms, Wenig etc. and I have the bonus of being able to unbolt the unit from the grip and putting it on another gun simply by getting the correct grip for the gun it's being used on plus I can change settings if I lose more weight, wear heavier clothes etc or lend my gun to someone in need of a gun.

my father shoots a pfs on a bt99 he said it was the best thing he did. he got it set up and has no recoil now as the gun is fitting proper and throwing down some decent scores with it. have fun with it love the wood much nicer then the black pistol grip

I'm hoping my results are as good, that is the hope. Proper fit and severely reduce recoil. Even if a plastic grip were available for the TMS I would still have gone with the English Walnut grip. I like the looks of it much more...

I sent the grip to Chris Dawe a few weeks ago to be glass bedded and fitted to the receiver along with the pitch spacers to be ground to fit the butt of the stock should I need them. I returned home this week after being away most of the month to find everything completed and returned to me. I have to thank Chris for providing such a quick turnaround and his usual first rate quality work. Next it was off to the hydro dip shop to pick up the polymer comb I had dipped in a wood grain finish to try to match the Grade 1 English Walnut grip as closely as possible. The shade is a tad lighter but the dipping job was top notch and the whole unit assembled looks amazing imo. I followed the instructions from PFS to finish assembling the complete unit and mount it to the grip and gun. Here is the end result. I can't wait to get out and shoot it, bring on the spring weather and let the clays fly!

The dip shop did a superb job on that cheek piece. You're going to have some of the guys complimenting the beauty of the walnut and when you show them the back side of the dipped part it'll blow their minds.

The gentleman that runs PFS said pretty much the same thing. Said it is the best dip job he has ever seen on one of their stocks. He said the guy that did it knocked it out of the park.

On the PFS, does the pitch spacer go (in the usual place) in front of the buttpad?
Do you have more than one, and swap them out?

I suppose it isn’t like the TSK Stock, which has a built-in pitch adjustment.

How’s she shoot, Frank?

I haven't shot it yet. Our club hasn't opened yet. It has 3 degrees built in pitch, if you need more you can use the 2 provided spacers and place them between the recoil pad and the metal butt. They are grind to fit Kick-eez spacers.
