I bought a 5 shot Anschutz .22 magazine at a gun show last fall and I recently used it a few weeks ago.
When I filled it with the last round it ejected every round out the mag.
Upon examination I found the metal had let go that holds both sides at the back between the lips.
The lips are not secured properly, does anyone have any suggestions of how to fix the mag or just turf it?
Thanks
Al

Get a friend to micro tig weld it or buy a new magazine from Nordic marksman.
Savage mag if your cheap.

Standard Anschütz .22LR mags can be fixed if not necessarily reliably (depending on how bad the feed lips are distorted or simply tacking it again). The Biathlon-specific mags are theoretically/purported to be hardened and tempered differently (I've never tested the difference between them in any significant way as I basically only have biathlon mags).

Savage MkII mags can easily be filed/modified to fit Anschütz and arguably are of a better mag-body design in my opinion.

One thinks of Anschutz as making reliable products so it sounds like the magazine was either bubba'ed or it's a counterfeit. Me, if it does hold 4 rounds and function reliably (the OP is not entirely clear), I'd mark it clearly (paint pen time!) and use it that way. And if it's a writeoff a new one is always available, from Nordic Marksman for instance. Then lie in wait for the vendor at the next show.
