very old 7.62x54r

Acquired some ammo at an auction, which was advertised as 8x50r mannlicher, but it turns out to be 7.62x54r Russian.

The ammo is in great condition and has different head stamps, like VPT, SAT 25, 1917
I there any collector's interest in this ammo? or should I return it to the auction house?
 
As kjohn said it would definitely appear to be Finnish as they used both VPT and SAT as head stamps.

I just realized that some of the ammo which is stamped 1917 is of German origine.
 
Using your excellent site, I was able to identify most of the cartridges.

Despite being "just" some Mosin Nagant ammo, I believe it is rather uncommon.
