Cooey 600

I have a Cooey 600 and I am trying to put a scope on it. I bought a weaver side mount and a side base 2. How do you install them together? I went on the web and couldn’t find any info.

Should just screw right on... Scope will be centered over bore

IIRC the 600 has a grooved receiver, while the early Model 60 needed to be drilled and tapped for the side mount.

Mine is an older one. It doesn’t have the grooves. It has holes on the of the receiver.

Bolt the inner plate on.
Then bolt the outer plate to the inner plate.
If I recalled correctly.

The base screws onto the action with the contour matching the action... There are 4 factory drilled and tapped holes... 8x40 threads... they are not on top of the action, they are off to the left side if the factory did them.

The scope when mounted will be slightly left of center as that rifle ejects fired rounds more or less straight up.
