Howdy, thanks for your attention.

I'm a new Shadow 2 shooter and love the pistol. That being said, I was dry firing and noticed a small, Phillips screw approximately 1/4" long with a relatively wide, low profile head and blue loctite on the threading, under where I was practicing. I assume this component somehow removed itself from the firearm, however the manual does not clearly identify it. It is unlikely this component came from elsewhere. Everything seems to function as intended, though I have not yet discharged the firearm since.

Any input is greatly appreciated.
Regards
Jesse

No Phillips head screws at all on a Shadow 2. I have two of them and have stripped them both to the bare frame installing Cajun Pro kits. It may have been an actual CZ part from another model that somehow got into the frame loose during assembly and fell out of the magwell during your dry fire. Does the blue locktite on the threads look uninstalled?

Mag release screw? Mine worked its way out once or twice until I lock-tightened it. Never had the problem again.

Is it possible it wasn't from the pistol? Holster or something completely unrelated?

My assumption as well. It may have been loose in the packaging and the OP didn't notice it.

Aside from buttplate screws on long guns, there should be no Philips head anything on any firearm, ever (but you do see them on some garbage-tier firearms). I'd be very surprised if CZ were to spec that type of part on a Shadow.

Weird indeed. I cant for the life of me place it. Loctite does appear uninstalled so I'm gonna assume it's an excess part and pretend I never found it.
Thanks for the Intel, gents.

Yeah all the screws on the Shadow are either Allen or Torx and one slotted one holding the mag release spring and trigger bar spring. someone from your range is probably missing a mag pouch or holster screw.

Show us the screw? Pic.
Turn this into name that screw game!

And Shadow2 is from Czech Republic
And as I understand no where in Europe do they use Philips screws.
