Np30 nickel

My NP-30N showed up yesterday. I only had about a minute or two to go over it cause I had to get off to work. It needs a bit of cleaning up because of all the pieces of styrofoam, but it should clean up with out too much trouble. I'll be having a good sit down with it in an hour or so when I get home.
 
Hear they make good hammers!

In about five to ten years, all that Chi-com junk will be worth a hundred bucks each. When the head Chi-com Army guy floods the market and drops the price to C$199.00, I'll buy up all the ones for sale when you guys buy all the new ones.
Hear they melt down and make good hammers. Maybe the Cuba-coms Army will get on the bandwagon too!

Ok, I finally got a chance to take some of my own pics for you all. Please ignore the fingerprints, I didn't think about wiping it down till after I finished taking the pictures (I took a LOT more than 4, I just kept the best of each). Enjoy!

When you get some time off, come on down to London. We can go shooting over at EESA, and then I can take some real nice pics of your 1911. Diffused light, tripod, and no flash! :)

I got mine on Christmas Eve which was a total surprise! :cool:

I was expecting for you guys on the west coast to get yours first but I guess I was wrong...
 
I got he NP-30 Nickel now. Here are some pics. I have crappy lighting and a crappy camera so they are not perfect, but you get the idea.

I ordered some Hogue black anodized aluminum grips, a 2-piece full length Ed Brown guide rod , and an 18lb ISMI chrome silicon spring. Should have that stuff in two or three weeks. I'll post pics again once I install everything.
