So I've recently just got my PAL, and I have a good ol lee Enfield, as many of you know, 303 is near impossible to find locally. I live in a rural area, so my mail goes to a P.O. box. So how can I get around this when buying online?

Some retailers will accommodate your request to deliver to a trusted alternate address with a physical street address.

The site sponsor that I last dealt with requested copy of my PAL texted to their phone number that is dedicated for such purchases.

I'm also rural and have a PO Box address.
The dealers I've ordered ammo from have been more than happy to ship it to my work address. Henry (Budget Shooting Supply) is one of them.

BEFORE you order, check local ranges, #######, any other sources. $140 or more will buy a few boxes of ammo . . . OR buy a diff rifle that's 'local supply' instead of the 303. That cal is hard to find, even brass for it if you'd learn to reload.
.308 & 30-06 are common and easy to find both guns and ammo.

Although you have a PO box, you do still have a physical address. When I had a PO box, I would put both addresses for shipping

Some Guy
1276 Backwoods Road
PO Box 246
Tiny Rural Town, BC
V0B XYZ

If they shipped my stuff Canada Post, it would show up in my PO box. If it came via courier, they would either drop it at my door, or phone me telling me they dropped it either at their depot (20 minutes away) or the local business that acted as a drop off point (5 minutes away) depending on which courier

You can always get it sent directly to your local post office. If you go on the website and put in your postal code and it will give you the address for the closest pickup location.

I've done it a few times when i know i will be working later or away when it gets delivered and don't want it standing at the door for the local porch pirates to commandeer

I get it shipped to my work address as well, my wife is the admin there so I always add her name in the ship to instructions.
During covid our doors were locked to the public, deliveries rang a bell, someone would come to the door and the package was left on the step.
My order of 500 rnds of 12g buck arrived and the delivery guy (recent immigrant fella) was reluctant to leave the package on the step - kept yelling at my wife through the glass "its booolittts, booolitts"
Everyone in the office had a good laugh

Get the ammo shipped Purolator to Terrace and hold for pickup. There must be two or three places in Terrace that Purolator drops off at. Even if you live in Kitwanga or in the Nass Valley you must go to Terrace once in a while. Everything Purolator that comes to Telkwa goes to one convenience store where it gets picked up.
