I know what you mean, but i have enough restricted short barreled rifles for now. I want some rifles i can go out and shoot with and not be restricted to the range.

Not for me, the Masada is a civvie gun designed by a few young'ens with a polymer background IMO. I don't think I need to tell anyone of FN.

You may be right, but the Magpul rifle is beating the SCAR in terms of stock esthetics & ergonomics though & I think it might have an edge in modularity. I think we'll probably have an easier time getting the new ACR into Canada than the SCAR, especially with FNs close connection with the DOD. Does anyone know where the primary manufacturing facility is going to be for the SCAR? If its outside the US, we might have a decent shot, if FN-USA builds 'em, I don't think we'll have a chance in hell of ever seeing one north of the border, unless something drastic changes in the US State Dept.
