Hmmmm....my guns are too dangerous for a white man but ok for Indigenous to use? This sounds about right for the systemically racist Trudeau Government. Like to see how that flies in court.

Amazing that all news services did not want to repeat that! As Northerners we all knew what that meant, and that only applied because of treaty wording. Nothing to save the non-indigenous folks who hunt and target shoot.
I've had several calls to see if I had a chance to comment, ..... replied that the Libs would never allow that as the last time I questioned their MP she peed her pants in front of the CBC! So to the best of my knowledge no non-indigenous gun owners were invited.

If you look at all at the Liberal's 'consulting' or how they operate in parliamentary committees 'studying' Bills or whatever you'll see a completely biased mocking attack on anyone opposed to the Liberal's agenda and complete welcoming soft sell for those in agreement. That is if any opposing voices are invited in the first place. It's downright nasty and disgusting.
Mendicino's soothing assurance is carefully constructed to focus on indigenous hunting rights (so to hell with the rest of you) and even there talks about rights and not what firearms they will let you own to exercise those rights.

I think they are more and more looking into "let the courts sort it out" type of laws. By the point it makes it there it's years down the line
That is very possible, even though it would be a clearly racist policy. And it would help to turn people against each other, which would also suit the federal government.
