Hi, seeking for hands-on opinions and experiences with the CMR-30. Very interested in this little 22mag carbine. I would like to hear pros and cons about the rifle. How it feels in the hands. Accuracy and and reliability!! very curious about its reliability ammo combo. What feeds best and what doesn't. Jams, failure to feed?

cheers

Can’t give you a whole lot on the Cmr30. But I was considering buying one last year. I did some research and ended up with a CZ512 in 22mag in the ATI stock instead. Very pleased with the decision. Roughly same price but CZ quality vs Keltec. I’ve ran 3-4 different types of ammo not a stoppage yet , accuracy is great. Not many options in the 22 mag semi auto market.

Looks like CZ discontinued the 512 in .22 mag. Boo.

Almost nothing. Even the Savage A22 seemed to have disappeared. I think they are just too expensive to manufacture.

I wouldn't recommend any Kel-Tec product myself. I would assume the OP picked the wrong sub-forum but it's definitely not a precision rifle, that's for sure.

Yes wrong section, I just noticed that. In the 22wmr it is pretty much the only decent rifle. The cz looks terrible imo and seems to be to big for noting. I don't mind keltec I like their avant-garde approach to firearms design. Just don't want to spend money on a jam-o-matic

In terms of reliability it seems solid. The ergonomics aren't too terrible. If you are ok with a mostly plastic gun with dubious longevity it may be what you are looking for. Having to pin the mags and stock kill a lot of the appeal of this gun IMO.
