Shot '08.......1911 fans.....here is the "louderthanwords" 1911 custom builders booth

Mr. Rodgers let me handle his creations to the show. A real gentleman and as good as the pictures are they don't do the guns justice. His work is simply amazing. The other true gem was a Stan Chen (Legacy custom) colt series 70.

A shame to see Terry Tussey like that but at least he is still with us. On word of advice is Louder Than Words is a charitable group and they will not put up with any critical remarks about anyone in the industry. I got a warning for stating Mitch Rosen isn't the easiest person to get along with. Regards, Richard:D
 
I usually don't like to use the word "overpriced' when referring to high-end goods, as every person has their own perception of value. Having said that, while those pistols are no doubt very nice, I don't see anything in them that any decent gunsmith couldn't build for a lot less than six grand (and you wouldn't have to wait for years to get your gun either).
