Bought a box of well preserved equipment set up for 270 Win (which I don't own). Mostly RCBS stuff, press, powder measure, dies, beam scale etc. Also a Forster case trimmer and something I've never seen before, a W.R. Vickerman seating die with a cut-out window. Neat tool.

There are 5 items included that I've no idea what they are for. One is a hollow tube with a handle on the side of it plus 4 different sized items marked #1, #2, #4 and #6.

Once I identify the items, I'll likely sell the dies etc, unless I pick up a 270.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

That’s an early ‘60s Vickerman in-line seater die and extended shell holders.

Shell holders are numbered as follows:

#1. 22 Hornet and Hornet Wildcats
#2. 218 Bee and Bee Wildcats
#3. 2R, 25-20 Single Shot, etc. (very hard to find this one)
#4. 219 Zipper, Rimmed Wasp, 25-35, 30-30, etc.
#5. 25 Rem, 30 Rem, Rimless Wasp, etc.
#6. 22-250, 250 Sav., 300 Sav., 6mm and Wildcat cases of these or shorter lengths having standard (.474) rimless heads.
#7. Rem. 222

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Thanks for the quick response, not sure why I couldn't find that myself on the Buffalo Arms website. Still no idea what the tube is for though.
