Well, I ordered some parts for a 10-22 and looks like my days of handling small parts are over.

Is there a service that would install these parts for me OR is there an experienced 10-22 parts installer on this site that would like to make a few bucks ?

I have a disconnector and a MCARBO spring kit to install.
I managed the auto bolt release mod this morning but the pin alignment have me great difficulty.
Waiting on a couple of other drop in parts to arrive as well...extractor, longer mag release.

Maybe some small modelers pliers with locks? I have similar issues these days, I find they help. - dan

Right there with ya, between that and failing eyes.

If I didn't have this I'd be lost.

These are excellent. I bought a mini plyer/tweezer set a few months back now at KMS tools that had those locking little grip scissors an they have been a life saver.

Or like my father give it to a mechanically inclined younger person (Me) who is willing to do the work to learn the process.

I didn't realize there were so many in the same boat.
hopefully I can squeeze in one more lever rie no scope hunt this year.

I've been contacted via PM with an offer of help.
A couple of flat rate boxes from Canada Post and I'm good to go.

I use the bottom 3 Hemos of Huskydude's pic, plus some of the same style with curved nose. As well, I have dental pics anad a variety of needle-nose pliers. I also have several magnetized screwdrivers that can be used to hold 'non-screw' parts in 'general position'.

I broke my hands once, and could not reassemble an SKS. If somebody nearby had a medical issue and couldn't assemble something, they could come over and I would do it for them if it was a simple thing.

Box with a clear lid, I didn't know I needed that, thanks!

PS - Those hemos are avail at A-zon for $5 or so. I've bought several, as well as EMT-type scissors and other stuff for BOBs
