for the m14... one cool piece of kit

i'd like to see someone local make up some aluminum or steel barrel wrenches that allow some leverage when using the combo tool or socket to tighten/loosen the gas plug. The ones in the brownells catalogue are like $45 plus shipping.

Theres gotta be at least 1 member with access to a machine shop and some scrap metal.

What part are you talking about, the disassembly tool or the gas lock wrench?

The gi bolt tool requires 3 hands to do the job. One to hold the tool, one to hold the bolt, and another to insert the extractor. With the vise tool, one person can do the job.

I can actually put the bolt back together by holding the bolt in my hands and pressing the ejector plunger against a nail hammered into the side of a wooden bench. I did this out of desperation and it actually works.

The proper tool makes it a lot easier.
