Missing zero stop screw

I purchased a primary arms 3-18x50 SLX scope used. But the seller never mentioned it was missing the screw for the zero stop on the elevation turret.

I contacted primary arms and they won't be able to help unless I have a US mailing address to have the scope sent to. They have no option for even purchasing a replacement screw and won't even provide the size of a screw I'd need to look for on my own.

Anyone have any ideas where I could buy one?
 
Gravel Agency is the Primary Arms importer/distributor here in Canada. Send them an email and they should be able to assist. I am dealing with them on another Primary Arms issue.
 
In my opinion PA is just a mock up of Vortex with inferior products and less customer service. But the name is cool. Some of their products are good, some are really ####ty.

With a Vortex you would have a screw in the mail the same or next day, free of charge.

Vortex is fantastic to deal with. I have been waiting since Feb for Primary Arms to make a decision regarding my red dot. Gravel is just to conduit to Primary Arms US.
 
I got a good deal on this scope, and it's still usable just no zero stop. The glass is meh, and the chromatic aberration is pretty bad. The higher end made in Japan stuff will be better, but don't think I'd buy anything again from them after this.

I'll give Gravel Agency a call and see if they can help out. It's strange their customer service rep never mentioned them.

On a side note the only leupold I ever used was a freedom 2-7 and it had much better glass.
 
This is ultimately what you pay as a premium in terms of the major brands. Surely when comparing like for like in terms of quality and performance, the major brands often cost more (even when sourced from same OEM and using similar specs) because of the warranty and customer service they back their products with. Having said that, every company also has its starting point and growing pains too.
 
Yes, it's just the screw. I tried Canadian Tire and home Depot, but they don't have anything that size. I might try Fastenal or brafasco but they are out of the way for me.

Amazon is your friend when it comes to machine screws but you may have to buy in bulk. $10 buy you a few hundred assorted M size screws.
