Has anyone ever try campro 405gr with their sharp?

Trying to see if I could use these instead of cast bullet with some good accuracy ( .458 diameter ).

Cheers.

I bought a bag of Campro 500 gr. I tried them in 2 scope sighted rifles: #1 Ruger and an 1885 Browning. I shot them against the BACO 535 gr Postell. The Campros were slightly more accurate in the 1885 and the Postells were slightly more accurate in the Ruger!!! No conclusions to be drawn from this test!!! Next is my Pedersoli 1874 in 45-90 and Pedersoli Rolling Block in 45-70. I also have a Pedersoli Business rifle in 45-70 so, a few test platforms to play with.
PS: All these tests are fired at 100 yds, over sand bags using IMR4198. The Pedersolis are all equipped with tang sights and front globes and shooting thru 78 yr old eyes, I'm not expecting MOA groups!!!

I use the Campro 450gr Spitzer in my 1874 Sharps. I have found 38 grains of IMR4198 gives 2270fps seated .010” of the lands, a very accurate load.
