A few questions for discussion and Info

How often do you clean the bore , is it necessary, at what point
Do you clean more when using mono's , if you do why is that
What's the best cleaning product and procedure you've got
Or how many shots is standard for a cleaning ?

I clean - the whole gun - after every outing to the range or when the gun is fired during a hunt ... simply because where I store my guns tends to be damp and I want to prevent rust. There’s an additional benefit; it’s likely you’ll notice if anything is wrong with the gun when you’re examining it comfortably at your workbench. Lastly, shouldering the gun after cleaning and before storing it allows you to relive the day’s shooting event. I tell ya, when yer a gun nut, life just doesn’t get much better than that, eh!

The creepy threatening PMs must be flying fast and furious right now lol

Bill you're a Savage :p

I remove jacket fouling every 200 or so rounds. Carbon more frequent, ballpark every 75 rounds +/-

I quit cleaning my bores as frequently about ten years ago and all the rifles shoot better than ever

I mainly use SharpShootR Patchout for copper and SeaFoam Deep Creep for carbon

Me too. As long as they are not stored without an oiled patch or two down the barrel, really don't sweat cleaning my rifle bores much. No need. Til accuracy falls off.
