I have a two barrel set Armi Beretta S682X shotgun. Originally my Dad's gun but given to me many years ago. It has one 32 in OU barrel with screw in chokes (7 chokes) and one single trap barrel 32 inch with a high upper rib.
The shotgun was checked out by a member of my club and he said it is in mint shape with no visible wear. One slight wood dent on the underside of the forearm. I have only shot it once or twice. The case is a bit worn from being in his truck.
Just asking if someone could give me an estimate of what this might worth as it time to move it on.

The S682 was the original 682 with the wide receiver and could date to the eighties, do you know when your father purchased it and did he purchase it new? Some people value these older guns and some do not.
Some other things could affect the value such as does it have a barrel selector, is the single barrel an unsingle….in other words does the single barrel use the top firing pin or the lower one? Are the barrels ported, some buyers want this more do not. Has it got nice wood or plain?
Pics will help get a closer value but it could be in the $2500 to $3500 range depending on details. These are very well built guns but they don’t appeal to everyone.
 
The earliest of the Beretta 680 series target guns was the 680 with fixed chokes. Next up was the 682 which had Mobile choke tubes and other improvements. Next up in the series was the 682X which added a stepped raised rib, popular with many trap shooters. The final version was the 682 Gold E with Optima choke tubes, not interchangeable with the Mobile system. Over 25+ years of production there were many variations and the platform was proven to be very robust and has won many matches worldwide. They were never offered as a field gun, they were always competition models tailored in Trap, Skeet, Sporting and International Trap configurations. Made to be readily and inexpensively rebuilt following years of heavy use, the actions feature replaceable locking lugs and hinge trunnions in ascending sizes to accommodate wear as well as replaceable barrel shoulders. All of these replacements are within the capability of most mechanically inclined owners. The guns if well maintained are usually capable of 75,000 - 80,000 rounds, then about $200 in parts ( probably double that now) and a couple of hours on the bench and they are ready to do it all over again. Many of these 20+ year old guns have digested well over 100,000, 150,000, 200,000 rounds, still look great and are still competitive.
With choke tubes and being a 682X version this gun likely dates from the late 1990’s - early 2000’s. It is still competitive at a club level up to a Provincial level and is a desirable gun in a sport (trap) that is fading in many areas. The under barrel is favoured by more shooters for the single, preferably 34”. 30” and 32” seem to be equally preferred for the double barrels. Value? Depending on condition, barrel combinations and configuration ( left/right hand) this should be a $2500-3500 gun and originality is much preferred, modifications lowers the value.

Thanks for the info. The single barrel is is the under configuration.The shotgun is in very good condition and I will be posting shortly to see if I can find a buyer.
 
A realistic price point looking at 5 that I found for sale 1800$ -2500$ and 2500$ would be optimistic
One gun sold at Canadian auction 1400$ just saying
 
Welll it is his gun!! Two other members seem to think it’s worth $2500-3500 so asking $2600 seems not out of line to me. In the end the owner can ask whatever they want. Wether it sells or not is another thing. JMO
