Depends on what you're going to do with the one you choose.
They're both very desirable to collectors as well as shooters and have similar value, depending on who's buying.
If you shoot it and carry it, the finish around the receiver will deteriorate and there's a good chance the rifle will accumulate some dings, even minor ones, all of which will devalue the rifle.
As for cartridge choices, the 30-30 won't do anything better out to 100 yards that a 44Mag, loaded for a rifle will do.
If I were making the choice, I would opt for the Model 92, 44 magnum for the simple reason they're much less common.
Other reasons would be the butt design, especially if I were going to shoot it, which I likely wouldn't
Recoil during shooting is likely close between the two, the M94 would be heavier but considering the cartridges and weight ratio???
IMHO, the Model 92 is much prettier eye candy as well.
