Depends on what you're going to do with the one you choose.
They're both very desirable to collectors as well as shooters and have similar value, depending on who's buying.
If you shoot it and carry it, the finish around the receiver will deteriorate and there's a good chance the rifle will accumulate some dings, even minor ones, all of which will devalue the rifle.
As for cartridge choices, the 30-30 won't do anything better out to 100 yards that a 44Mag, loaded for a rifle will do.
If I were making the choice, I would opt for the Model 92, 44 magnum for the simple reason they're much less common.
Other reasons would be the butt design, especially if I were going to shoot it, which I likely wouldn't
Recoil during shooting is likely close between the two, the M94 would be heavier but considering the cartridges and weight ratio???

The top rifle has a buttplate that will hold your upper body only in one position. Whereas the lower rifle has a flat butt. Easier to shoot, in my experience.

The 1892 action is shorter, and cycles much smooter than the 1894. The 44 magnum is much cooler than the 30-30 cartridge.
The 30-30 will give you about 100 yards advantage for hunting, and it is scopeable whereas the 1892 isn't without drilling holes.
The shotgun style butt on the 1892 is nicer on the shoulder than the crescent butt on the 1894.

Myself, I would take the 1894 in 30-30. Both 30-30's in my safe are Marlins, I need one in a Winchester, I do have a '94 in 38-55 though.
I already have a '92 in 454 Casull, so the 44 does not really interest me, beautiful rifle though. 45 Colt would have been a tougher decision.

I would go with the 30-30 as it would be a more versatile rifle . 30-30 is an extremely popular deer caliber for a reason ; 44 mag. , not so much .
As a Cowboy Action shooter, I would be better off with the Marlin M1894S that I used in competition for 14 years. For competition and speed shooting, M92's and clones are 3rd choice rifles. For close in self defence the Marlin wins .44 mag out to 100 yds. Past 100 yards for hunting and self defence in close in brush I'll go with my 1901 manufactured Winchester M1894 SRC in .30WCF (.30/30).

I'd prefer the one with the flat butt plate & takedown feature. Would prefer it in .30-30 over .44 Mag though.
Yes, I know we're talking '92 vs '94 frames.....
That all said, since the choices are as they are presented in the OP, I'd take the '92 in .44 Mag.

I don’t own any lever actions and would love to.
For distance and range I’d be using it at either calibre would work for me.
I think the 92 is a little more lefty friendly with the top eject and I like the takedown idea.
