Calmex,
This thread is about wonder nines but I love old singlestack 9mm metal pistols even more. Nice 3904

So here are the 9mm essentials. Mostly S&W including the 5 shot wheel gun up to a 6 inch gun that shoots like a house on fire.
Oh Man, where do I even begin?
Chronologically speaking, the BHP Mk 3 with "Safety Firing System" (SFS) that allows the Hammer to be pushed forward into a Drop-Safe mode with a round chambered, is one of my all-time favourites made even better. Pushing the cocked Hammer forwards activates the Safety Lever upwards onto the Safe position and the pistol is now safe to carry. When you draw and swipe the Safety Lever downwards the Hammer jumps back into Fire mode and is ready to fire the first round in single-action. The SFS is an awesome system that the South Koreans have adopted with their "Lionheart" series of service pistols. Who needs single/double action when you can safely carry Hammer-down, but immediately fire a single-action shot by swiping off the Safety:
I was just getting into shooting at the height of the wondernine craze and I’ve always appreciated the cool, unique designs of the time. I’ve been lucky enough to pick up most of the ones I’ve been looking for—CZ75, H&K P7 PSP, S&W 469, Beretta M9, Browning BDM, H&K VP70z, Benelli B76, Steyr GB, Walther P88, and USP Elite (plus an honorary mention to my .45ACP P9S).
Does the 5" PC have a similar trigger?
If I could have chosen a 5906 in Mexico, I would have. But 9mm is prohibited for civilian use. When Colonel Maher showed up with a 3904 and told me it was going to be my own to use on "Colonel work", I thought I'd won the lottery. But I would have felt richer had it been a double-stack. You takes what you gets.
