So why are none of us Hunters talking about the 30 x 30 Intiative?

Blakeyboy; it's futile. There is a segment who simply refuse to see anything that might threaten either their own sense of importance and autarchy or just their peace of mind. When you see yourself as a king in your own little world, why look over the hill? It only makes you feel small.

Many are pure individualists uninterested in anything but themselves and their own advantage and they continue to be so no matter what the situation. At the extreme end of that scale are the narcissists and psychopaths.

When repressive regimes are installed such people either go along to get along, or in a considerable number of cases are quick to find niches for themselves in the apparatus of power or repression.

Their fundamental lack of interest in their fellow citizens or their fate makes this easy and not only easy, but they think it perfectly right and even moral: "every man for himself", "if I didn't do it someone else would" etc. etc.

quoted for the future you guys have a huge selfesteem ... thinking you re king lol and you can decide all alone ... it s coming as i said and wont like as well ...

Micro plastics or not, I’ll take this over a parking lot, and certainly try to make sure it stays this way.

wow.... so beautiful. If there is a heaven, that is it!

you should have quoted the whole thing, it covered the entire picture in the fewest words of what should be of most importance to all of us at this point, study it, it wasn't a gaslight like what most of you say is including your 'king' comment which is exactly what his post pointed out about narcissists, do you look into why the one group not only has broken free and learned the game but why we speak out? do you think we do this for fun?, risk it all to raise the alarm, with family/friends/work?, no we do this because there is something far more important to us...humanity, which is thicker than blood, do you think about the future of humanity at all in what's happening? once you learn what's really going on you put aside your small piece of pie in this short term existence here for the greater good, you risk it all to raise the alarm....what did the other side risk? nothing, you put nothing on the line, easiest to go with the apparent 'mass perspective' eh?, you took the easy road, so I'd get over your king gaslight quick, our driver is humanity, nothing else...and you need the truth to go forward for humanity, that's what's being exposed now

the journey to figure out what just happened the past 3 years is yours to take, do your best, try to watch out for those gaslights that pop out of your mouth so easily, you will continue to be wrong if you keep doing and following the same thing you have been...try to look down the road a year or two and see where this is going to lead, being able to see the future is gift and a curse however, here's a hint, the group that's been right the past few years understands where this is headed far better than the group that's been manipulated...

to stand your ground at this point and somehow think you're going to be right going forward is a bold stance, best of luck with it

we're not your enemy, they want you to think that though, they lied to you and you wanna think we're the enemy...logic that out, your anger is warranted but simply misdirected at this point, we didn't lie to you....find out who did, that's where we focus going forward, we're on the same team

Gentlemen, this is who you're arguing with.

Can we get back to talking about hunting now?

Shot a 19 4/16 blackie over the weekend, what about y'all?

nice bear!, yes we've been spinning our wheels the past few pages and wasting valuable time for some to go get some new answers to hopefully some new questions, and no doubt we're all a little wiser to this 30x30 initiative, goal of thread achieved, 30x30 will, in time, make it impossible to go out and shoot 19 4/16" blackies and we won't have a reason for this section on the forum so lets be informed rather than manipulated ;)

wow.... so beautiful. If there is a heaven, that is it!

I agree. And a valley of 300-800 year old trees across from it was clear cut logged recently, a valley I hunted and fished, and prior to being cut was my main camp. Something the anti-30x30 crowd appear to cheer for reasons I can’t fathom. 30x30 means more places like that remain. What it doesn’t mean is chemtrail mind control, seeing the future, or vaccine mandates.

Sure... I'm pretty well informed, just not in matters of conspiracy theories.

While the future of hunting may be at stake one day, it is not the 30x30 initiative and the wild lands it aims to preserve that would be its demise, it will probably be hunters, much like gun owners, we're pretty good at being divided and letting the loonies give us a bad wrap...

No, they are pretty good at getting us to believe it’s all our fault. We’re learning the game, two steps forward one step back at this point but it’s far better than just a few years ago. And no you’re not pretty well informed if you thoroughly dig into all of this as the theories over that past 3 years ended up true. Explain that if you’re so informed.

Anyhow congrats on bear and your point is noted about spinning wheels here now and agree. But don’t step into the actual discussion if you aren’t up to speed on ALL info including the apparent theories, especially the apparent theories, because it’s clear now that those are a key indicator to what’s coming the next couple of years. Pay the most attention to that. If anything this last three years has taught anyone is to get into as much of this info as you can and if you simply dismiss stuff you don’t like then be prepared to end up wrong at every turn and that you will be complicit in working against humanity. Just like the last three years went. So careful folks. Look carefully back at the past three years and find out why you thought you were informed but turns out those ridiculed were actually the informed ones.

Let's hope so. I fear it's more likely that 30-30 will manifest in "reclaiming" farm land and letting it go wild. Sockboy is already wanting farmers to reduce their fertilizer usage by 30%, as though farmers throw fertilizer around like confetti. Reducing fertilizer use means reducing acreage farmed. We've all seen what's happening in The Netherlands, government vying to buy out farmers. Ireland planned to slaughter 200,000 cattle to save the environment. Biden has plans to pay farmers to take land out of production.

The want you to buy their bugs.

The good news - the future is not written in stone. Hopefully people will wise up and say no.

Time will tell.

Canada has plenty of wilderness to designate protected before farmland is concerned. The Netherlands couldn’t be geographically more different than Canada. Where that picture was taken, is a conservancy (protected). Across from it was the valley my original camp was in that was clear cut, unprotected. Protecting wilderness isn’t questionable, it’s without question.

Hunters need to realize the importance of it and keep the conspiracy garbage out of it. Or all the idyllic scenes we dream about of wilderness ridge over ridge far as you can see and wild game, will become only dreams. I know because I made a living out of selling that to Americans, who came looking for it as it had already been destroyed in their home states.

That irony didn’t escape my notice, they came to see what was gone where they came from, in a country much more developed than ours. So far anyhow, we’re destroying the desirable parts of this country with reckless abandon.

I agree, we are blessed with lots of natural beauty. I'm not following your logic though, how is being vigilant of tyranny threatening the idyllic scenes we dream about? 30-30 isn't about protecting wilderness, we already have that, or you wouldn't have been able to post a picture taken in a conservancy. It's about "climate change".

We've been responsible as a nation about conservation for well over a hundred years now, we don't need a globalist cabal dictating to us about climate change.

Anyway, just keep your eyes open. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong. I post in threads like this to try to ensure I'm wrong. I'll only be wrong if people make me wrong, and that's what I'm hoping for.

No, afraid that’s your take. 30x30 is about protecting biodiversity and ecosystems, which one would have to be pretty willfully blind to think aren’t taking massive losses. Just like the American’s home states I guided, who came here to hunt species they used to have, and wilderness that had been ‘developed’ at home.

Climate change is a thing too, I’ve seen too much in my day job. One of the old fire incident commanders who’d been at it forever said it well in Lytton, “Anyone who doesn’t believe in climate change can buy me a ####ing coffee.” This said I don’t care if you believe it or not, I do care if you’re interested in keeping wilderness intact. Climate change… who cares we both win in keeping wildnesses wild, me having seen too much of it, you not thinking it’s real.

30x30 doesn’t give a #### about our personal climate viewpoints, it’s not telling you not to drive. It’s saying protect wilderness and keep it intact.

Which person posting in this argument pushes more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere for exchange of money. Who is leading by example and who is just playing havoc on the environment to better themselves.

Protecting the environment. Lol. Our grand pumpkin is teaming up with China to protect the environment? Lol

It's not my take, I get my info about the WEF from, of all places, their web site, lol. It's all there, they don't hide it.

I have yet to meet anyone who believes the climate is not changing. The nonsense is in ascribing it to CO2 and nitrous oxide, and believing that killing cows is a solution. Cows are not destroying the environment, cows ARE the environment, lol. I already pointed out to you the folly in saying the glaciers are melting. The glaciers melted. It's done. Paying more for gas isn't going to bring them back, and why would you want to bring them back? Being under a mile of ice is not really conducive to conservation of our beautiful wilderness. Most of the wilderness that we have, we have BECAUSE the glaciers melted.

I'll be happy to buy your friend a coffee and thank him for his service, while in line I'll try to explain to him that arson is not a consequence of climate change.

The WEF estimates they will need about $140,000,000,000 to NOT develop wilderness. That makes sense, right? Go ahead, write them a cheque.

Edit: Correction (I decided to fact check myself) - $140,000,000,000 ANNUALLY!

+40 to +50C isn’t a consequence of arson, unfortunately. I’m not going to change your mind on climate change, don’t care to. I only care if you think protecting wild spaces and habitat matters. And if all the human caused habitat loss is a sham in your eyes, too. We agree on one thing, climate change is a runaway train, we just don’t agree if we’re taking a large part of the credit. I see protecting habitat as far more important, which is 30x30’s explicit goal.

You gotta skip the first two paragraphs on protecting biodiversity through habitat protection to get to that. I’m glad it’s a benefit of 30x30, that we don’t agree on that aspect makes no difference for if 30x30 protects habitat. That benefits both our views as hunters and outdoorsmen.
