Which Flashhider for Norc 14s

If I were going to do it, I'd use a Smith Enterprises AR15 thread on muzzle brake (similar to the USCG brake for m14) and have the gunsmith bore it out to fit the 308. But that's if you want a brake rather than a flash suppressor.
 
got any extras kicking around? I have a stock coming (someday:p) and a brl chop organized so I needs me a new flash hider. I like the phantom ones too...
 
who's doing your barrel chop?
and your stock..... should be arriving anyday now..... I know... my bad ;)
as far as flash hiders and such.... i might have a GI one to spare but the custom stuff... none at the moment.. I'm gonna talk to Joe at Dlask next week and see if he will do another run of his muzzle breaks... and i'm sure he could ream out a AR vortex to fit a cut norc barrel
 
Stock is here looks sweet! I am looking for a hider not a break as the recoil doesn't bother me. Is the USGI one the same bird cage dealio as the Norc version?

As for the Chop DVC Ventures is going to accomadate me.
 
I fail to understand why Marstar.... seeing the obvious demand for literally thousands of m14's..... sks's ect......... doesn't also stock the parts and bits we are all so fervently wishing a canadian dealer would stock. I just don't get it and personally I think they are missing the boat on the profits to be made by stocking parts.... especially the m14 related line of parts and accessories.
Marstar obviously has the liscence to import barrels, muzzle breaks, stocks, bolts...... so why not.
I can go right now (through my importer)...... to a U.S. dealer whom i won't disclose, and buy, genuine, NEW unissued TRW bolts and barrels, in the wrap, the full line of badger ordnance m14 parts..... not to mention grade AA USGI walnut and fiberglass stocks... and the list goes on. I have placed my order :D

It is just a poor business decision to stock large quantities of a firearm and not also take advantage of the obvious need for these parts.... and the business that finally does step up and take the plunge will no doubt have no problem selling off thier inventory to canadians at a tidy profit i might add.
The demand is there, there's no doubt about that

I'm sure there is a good reason. Maybe they had no anticipated this many M14 sales and never bothered setting up a supplier for parts. Maybe the profit margin on these parts isn't worth the time and hassle it takes to get them? I'm sure that there were better business decisions made at the time for other parts of the company.
