BCWF going Woke

yeah it's funny, we're divided into two camps essentially, woke...bad, awake....good lol

what are some other possible descriptors for those programmed into the narratives cult? ;)

One word or meaning: "Mental Illness"

absolutely, but they all had help getting there, those with the microphone have known exactly how to do this for generations, there are so many casualties in this war, there will be a lot of work to do to help bring people back once this all finally hits the fan, those at the ready with hands outstretched aren't going anywhere, we've learned the game, we're helping educate the game, we're here for the support end of the game when it all finally hits the surface

I wrote a letter to my wife's manager at the hospital she is employed at. They were trying to force my wife to take "Indigenous Sensitivity training". Okay that's fine, we live in a community with a reserve 50km out of town..... except for the fact that my wife married into an indigenous family and she only has two family members in Canada (from bosnia) otherwise. So what kind of training does she need???
I wrote the letter, excusing my wife from Indigenous Sensitivity training and told them exactly how offensively patronizing these "courses" are.

Since it seems your wife is from another country one would think she would benefit from some Indigenous training. I know you classify it as 'sensitivity' training but it is likely focused on history and relationship training. Full disclosure, I have provided Indigenous relations training for my work in the past, 1 day and 3 day courses, almost 100% of the attendees learned something and many are young adults and had never heard much of the history.

But regardless, since she has been trained by your family I assume you have family members from all the different bands across BC/Canada which all have a different culture, history and treaties; some that attended residential school and can speak to that experience, some forcibly taken by the government (residential school, childrens aid, 60's scoop), some that went to Indian Day schools and can share their experiences about loosing their language, some to share treaty information, history of the Metis across Canada, some that have experienced homelessness, addiction issues, alcoholism and some that have recovered and those that stills struggle, some with chronic health issues associated with Indigneous people, such as diabetes, intergenerational trauma, mental health issues. Some of the female family members probably told her about the specific issues faced by Indingeous women and girls such as abuse, ###-trafficking, addiction and prostitution, treatment by police, apprehension of children by CAS, poverty, single parenting...

On the off chance your family hasn't experienced all of these things perhaps the half day of paid training on "Indigenous Sensitivity training" isn't such a bad thing. She might learn something new your family missed.

PS - I agree with you on the LGBTQ and 2 spirit crap. I have no problem with people being who they are, just don't expect me to wave your flag or post my pronouns.

Absalutely, pick you're discipline on mental illness. They are being groomed by polititians, educational institutions, bussiness, parents, the whole shabang! About 25 years ago "Political Correctness" was created, this was to censor common dialogue, now; it has escalated that nothing can be mentioned, regardless of extreme unorthadox behaviour. Eccentricities is common place, western civiliation has evolved into deep decadence.

LOL what a crock
I come from an indigenous family...... one that is on Canada's historical treaty documents.
I personally think all this "DEI" crap is a bunch of patronizing nonsense.
FYI the BC Metis Nation... or the folks running it these days.... are balls in on all this 2 spirit crap.... colonialism crap......
Indigenous people in this country are showing how absolutely naiive they are once again following the Liberal government's pied piper down the rainbow path.

I also wrote the Metis Nation BC and told them how much I do not appreciate being bombarded with LGBTQ and 2spirit messaging in every communicatio they make.
BC Metis Nation is also all on board with intitiative 30x30 and has partenered with a bunch of organizations that would see an end to hunting and fishing.
I fail to understand why the BC Metis Nation isn't busy securing my hunting and fishing rights on the land as a "status indian" but nope..... all thier time is being spent on this Diversity, Equity and Inclusion nonsense.
These are the programs that slowly bring communism to the landscape.

101% Agree with you ! As usual the minority whining and wanting everything for themselves . BUT totally happy to TAKE all the FREE money we give them . JMO RJ

I have had all the woke DIE crap thrown at me that my employer can possibly throw. And here's where it breaks down. Trusted, professional colleagues of every gender, type and stripe who have worked together with respect and harmony for years are now balkanizing into groups based on these cosmetic distinctions and eyeing each other up with mistrust, or living in fear of saying, or hearing, some 'wrong' word. I can't see anything positive coming out of it except scads of new hiring to keep quota and spreadsheet statistics.

Those training sessions you give sure break down in a hurry when given to a room full of structural engineers who fully understand that duty to consult timelines and concrete deterioration rates are mutually exclusive concepts.

I went to school with a bunch of engineers, even married one, and presented to some last fall, they are a tough nut to crack. They can't even agree amongst themselves, let alone figure out the politics of DTC. They did have that glazed over look in their eyes, but the CEOs were all interested, mostly regarding timelines and approvals. So we set a timeline for approvals (including DTC) and the engineers promptly foul it all up because every single one of them has to be right, and won't budge on their design.

great post, seeing exactly same thing, breeds division and this is what these criminals do best, they don't want us to figure out the game or who they are, keep us distracted, bewildered, and divided...we're onto them now though, its wonderful time in history as we all finally get a chance to understand something our parents and grandparents likely never got a chance to see until they crossed over

Not that he needs one minute of help in responding to you and I'm sure he will when he gets a chance but maybe you missed in his post that 'he comes from an indigenous family'? Pretty sure that qualifies him to have his wife up to speed? ;)

Oh my, I hope you know your training topics way better than you know anything about engineering or engineers. The picture you paint is so misguided and far from the truth to be beyond laughable. So they are all ego driven and need to be 'right' over sound engineering? Do you actually believe that?? You may consider that 'hard nut to crack' is actually engineers being professional and knowledge based resisting the politics you sorely wish to introduce. As to timelines and approvals, it's hard to get agreement on timelines and for them be met with an ever moving target with ever increasing demands and conditions. Basically you can't ever get there from here and that's why those eyes glaze over. That, or you bore them to tears and all they want is for you to stop talking so they can get back to real work.

BTW, I notice you skipped right over the contradiction between consulting and concrete. Bridges fall down waiting for the former while the elements work against the latter.

I am Indigenous and won't pretend to know everything about every First Nation, Metis or Inuit group out there. Just because I am married to someone doesn't mean I have provided, or am capable of providing all of the insights, they need to know about the Indigenous people they may encounter at work.

No, they don't.
