Like a fly on the wall waiting to see what the HA's woulds respond to the Nice police lady about "how many previously non‐restricted and

(I'm not suggesting that anyone in that organization has anything to discuss)

If you have to ask then things might not work out for you. This question is what shows precisely the cultural difference between Alberta and the east.

I agree with these ^ responses. This message is very awkwardly written and worded, contains grammatical errors and other weird inconsistencies that are very reminiscent of the "I am being held prisoner in Nigeria by my wicked uncle to keep me from my rightful place on the throne...please help!" emails which we have all received.

When have you ever seen a legitimate piece of correspondence from a government entity that begins with "I am..."? But scam letters almost always sound that way.

Using the name Amanda Jones means nothing; a real name picked from a newspaper article to add a touch of authenticity. I think this is BS, plain and simple.

If you bother to respond at all, I would simply contact the RCMP to confirm this is actually from them. That will likely stir them up a bit; they like to maintain their monopoly on illegal activity and wouldn't be happy to hear that somebody is muscling in on their territory...:)

For military,

"I, (insert name) do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will bear true allegiance to His Majesty King Charles III, his heirs and successors according to law, so help me God (or whatever the heathens pray to)."

The oath is not to the People. That is an American concept. Canadians are loyal to the Crown.

For RCMP,

"I, insert name, solemnly swear that I will faithfully, diligently and impartially execute and perform the duties required of me as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and will well and truly obey and perform all lawful orders and instructions that I receive as such, without fear, favour or affection of or toward any person. So help me God."
 
I’d be forwarding a copy of that email to;
The CFO
The premier
Your local MP
And, I would include Mrs. Jones on that CC too, which should give her the reply she’s asking for.
Which is a big middle finger held tall and strong in their faces.

You really must tell me what you’re trying to say here as Iam a bit confused with your statement about my question about work. Iam a resident of northern Ontario and like the people in Alberta I suffer from not haveing fair representation in Ottawa I love freedom and a card carrying conservativ and a damn hard worker but admit Iam suffering a bit financially due to the liberals Covid mandates i can’t get decent work due the fact I must now be vaccinated which I refuse to take. Hell I quit a 46 dollar an hr job in Toronto when was given the choice of getting jabbed or lose my job. So iam not sure about the culture you speak about the easterners

They can and will:

-Confiscate your assets.
-Seize your bank accounts. Turn off lines of credit.
-Get you fired from your job.
-Deny benefits you have paid into your entire working life.
-Remove your children from your home.

Are you still concerned about being locked up in an eight by eight cell?
 
Well if you read the RCMP one, right there it makes a mockery out of that pledge. Why has no RCMP OFFICER arrested Justine for all his so called scandels. Higher ups influence stoped them. THE LAW IS THE LAW No?

Imagine the reply to something like this...

"Good day MP ______, Senator _____, CFO ______, Premier ________, and Minister of Safety _________;
cc: C/Supt Amanda Jones

RE: An official request for your review of the following email correspondence, very possibly a fake government of Canada email from a Chinese Police Station in Canada attempting political espionage."

Then just state all of the obvious (I deal with gov't in formal, legal contract law situations):
- bad grammar
- bad structure
- not an official letter on letterhead
- too colloquial & friendly sounding, not official sounding
- not written by RCMP lawyers if it is a real RCMP action on a law (the OIC)
- not a letter through the CSAAA and their program
- does not include the May 2020 OIC as reference (gov't would always provide a link or copy of a reference like that)
- did not spell out PS Canada (gov't is never to use an abbreviation without spelling it out the first time)
- did not identify the location for receiving firearms
- gov't doesn't use "quick phone calls" for anything official in regards to laws: everything is official
- no government agent ends a document with "respectfully" (they are taught this is faking submissiveness to rob someone of something)

In all of my dealings with government I have never read a more fake, ignorant, and rude letter in an attempt to be friendly and "chummy" with someone: definitely someone trying to thieve and rob you (either Chinese of RCMP, either way). Gov't should never send such an email unless there is a long standing relationship with one another, and even then something of this formal of a nature would never be sent.

I still, after reading it a couple of times, think whoever wrote that is a smug, egotistical, narcissistic failure.
