Anyone use one and are they reliable /accurate? Don't need the history only for the TT33 not the 57 Yugo etc .....already aware of that.

Have one that I haven’t had time to fire yet, I will say it’s a drop in fit in my Russian tt33. Mag fits well, dummy 9mm rounds cycle, live factory ammo passes the plunk test. A friend has one in a chicom tt33 that I’ve fired, he’s not had any issues as far as I know.

I got the one from lever arms and put it in my chinese tokarev. It works great with no issue. You can use the x25 magazines with 9mm and it also works great. I sold the 9mm only mags cause i do not feel like i need them. I just swap barrel and ammo and enjoy. I do feel a little silly though since 9mm cost alot more than x25 currently.

For accuracy, its a handgun made for war. Its good enough.

My Polish TT33 was unissued and will shoot .25 sized 15 yard groups off the bags. I load 13gr of Win 296 /Starline brass and either a 86grSP or 90gr HP. For ease of ammo and not caring about lost brass I thought a 9mm option would be practical. At least ammo will be available NATO or Com. Block. Thanx for the replies.

Not a conversion but my norc m213 in 9mm is surprisingly accurate.

Canam was selling them for $99 way back, wish I had got 2 of them

My point is I can a 9mm barrel and two 9mm Tokarev mags for $200 elsewhere for less than half the price. Even if I don't need the mags.

I have one of those kits brought in by Lever Arms.

It feeds, chambers and shoots just fine from both the original mags and the two mags included in the kit.

Mine just fit right in and worked, without any fiddling at all.

TT33 can vary a few thou one way or another internally, depending on where they're made.

Mine is Russian, dated 1946 and unissued.

Nice to know .Not surprised .I seen other non-flattering business behaviours from them over the years. I wanted a 9mm barrel so it is what it is.I don't buy enough from them to care.

I'll probably get the kit to try it, but what's the benefit of the conversion?

The price of 7.62x25 is slightly lower than 9mm (or a lot lower if you want to get surplus) and it isn't in short supply. I can't imagine it'll make the Tokarev that much more accurate either.

For me the benefit is not having to clean it if I only want to shoot a couple mags, I’ll shoot surplus x25 when I want to shoot volume and do a full clean. Otherwise I’ll shoot 9mm if I want to shoot a box or two, also I have not bothered to collect brass or projectiles or dies for x25. Have lots of components for 9mm, makes sense to have the ability to shoot both cartridges.
